Donald Chisholm Jr., Senior Pastor
Pastor Don Chisholm Jr. is a native of Buffalo N.Y. He is a speaker, motivator, and presenter, skilled in employing clarity, innovation and humor to deliver effective presentations to diverse audiences on all organizational levels. He has a passion to share personal life experiences and expertise to enrich the lives of others. Pastor Don believes there is a winner in all of us, but wanting to win is not the key to winning, it's having the will to practice every day that will make winning an automatic.
Pastor Don serves over 50 churches as a Chief Adjutant for Western NY 2nd Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ. He also serves as the Vice President of the Auxiliary in Ministry for Western NY 2nd Jurisdiction. Pastor Don is also a member of The Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops founded by Archbishop J. Delano Ellis.
Pastor Don matriculated through Empire State College where he pursued a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. He is now working toward his Master degree in Theology at the
Christian Bible Institute and Seminary.
He volunteers in his community serving on the Erie County Youth Board as a Board member and is a mentor for Big Brother Big Sisters. He was also Appointed as an Executive Board member and Chairman for the media department for the National Black Leadership Commission on Aids. Pastor Don is in the process of Chairing a 100 Black Men Chapter in Buffalo, NY whose stated goal is to Educate and Empower African American children and teens.
Pastor Don currently resides in Western New York as husband to Shona L. Chisholm and a father of three. He believes in the investment of his family, community and the Kingdom of God.

Shona L. Chisholm, First Lady
Lady Shona is a woman whose life reflects faith, resilience, and the transforming power of Christ. Born in Upstate New York, she learned early in life how to face difficult moments with strength and trust in God. Her personal testimony is one of powerful victory—having endured profound loss as a widow at the age of 23 and later surviving a life-threatening stroke at 35 caused by massive blood clots in her brain. Physicians considered her survival medically impossible, yet today she stands as living proof of God’s miraculous grace, with no evidence of stroke or clotting remaining.
Lady Shona is passionate about sharing the Word of God and encouraging others through her testimony of faith, healing, and restoration. She is the author of Married to the Down Low, a courageous and transparent account of a turbulent past season in her life and how God faithfully restored her to wholeness.
Today, she faithfully serves in ministry alongside her husband, Pastor Donald Chisholm Jr., at The Latter Rain Cathedral in Lockport, New York. Affectionately known as “Lady Sho” by her church family, she is also a licensed Evangelist Missionary in the International Church of God in Christ and serves as the Western New York Jurisdiction #2, Director of the Pastors and Elders’ Wives. Through her ministry, she inspires others to connect deeply with Christ and experience His unconditional love and saving power.
Above all, she treasures the role of being a mother to her beautiful daughter, Taylor, and considers it one of God’s greatest blessings.
