Pastor Don currently resides in Western New York as husband to Shona L. Chisholm and a father of three. He believes in the investment of his family, community and the Kingdom of God.
Shona is the epitome of what is to be a "woman" and what it is to embrace a life with Christ as the center. Whether its telling her life story or a random conversation, it only takes a few moments of getting to know her to see that she is an authentic and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Her infectious laughter and enthralling way with words leave you uplifted and fascinated by the possibilities of life. Born in Upstate NY, Shona learned the meaning of taking on the fun moments of life at an early age.
Sharing the word of God and giving her testimony of victory over death are most rewarding for her. She suffered an unexpected stroke at the age of 35, discovering massive blood clots in her brain. According to several physicians, it was medically impossible for her to have survived such trauma. Even while some traces of clots remained, God spared her life and without any faculties lacking. Today, there is no evidence of any clotting or stroke!
Her first written work titled, “Married to the Down Low”, is a tell all account of her life as the wife of a former pastor living a secret lifestyle. It was God who put the pieces back together again and carried her through to a place of wholeness.
Shona now serves in ministry with her husband, Pastor Donald Chisholm Jr. of The Latter Rain Cathedral in Lockport, New York. Affectionately addressed as "Lady Sho" among her church family, her greatest desire is to impact the daily experience of God's people. Her beautiful daughter, Taylor, affords her the awesome privilege of motherhood. God-given influence allows her to inspire and motivate others to connect with Christ and experience the impact of his unconditional love.
